Strong beat
Default: Direction Up
The first beat of the bar, and the start of each group in 7/8 or 5/4. On screen it lifts the platform twice as high.
Silent haptic metronome · Apple Watch & iPhone
The downbeat and the other beats tap differently on your Apple Watch, so you know where you are in the bar without a click in your ears. On the iPhone it's a full metronome with sound. Use either one on its own, or both together.
The app's own platform, running in your browser. On the watch, every rise is a tap on your wrist.
A metronome you feel has to say more than “now”. Haptempo gives the start of the bar its own tap, so you can count without looking and without listening.
Default: Direction Up
The first beat of the bar, and the start of each group in 7/8 or 5/4. On screen it lifts the platform twice as high.
Default: Direction Down
Every other beat. In Pro you choose each voice yourself from the watch's own haptics, by how it feels.
Pick a time signature to hear and see it in the metronome above.
7/8 as 2+2+3, 2+3+2 or 3+2+2. The accents fall on the start of each group.
Make any beat strong, weak or a rest. A tap on a dot changes it.
6/8 counted in dotted quarters, 7/8 in eighths, 2/2 in halves. The number means what the score means.
From Grave to Prestissimo, next to the number, so 76 reads as walking pace.
Eighths, triplets or sixteenths between the beats. They click softly, and tap on the watch only if you want them to.
Tap strong, weak and rest. The app finds the tempo and the rhythm, and suggests a time signature.
Start on the phone or on the watch, and both start on the same beat. Change the tempo while playing, and both restart from a shared moment.
Hear the click from the phone and feel it on your wrist, at the same time.
Both apps need to be open.
Phones nearby with the same group name start and stop together, and each one starts its own watch.
Over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, no shared router needed. The app stays open on every phone.
Save the tempo, meter, grouping and rhythm of each song. Pick the next one on your watch between songs. Your haptics, sound and wave stay your own.
No subscription and no trial clock. The free version lets you feel both voices in 2/2 or 4/4 while you play, or keep a plain pulse, which is the thing worth testing before you pay.
